Aaron Rodgers Reveals Decision on The Pat McAfee Show

One of the NFL's most anticipated offseason decisions has been made. Green Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers revealed on the Pat McAfee Show that he is expecting to play for the New York Jets in 2023.
"This is not a decision here. This decision, I think, was made in my mind whether or not I was able to commit at that point really on that Tuesday that I wanted to play. So, at this point, as I sit here, since Friday, I made it clear my intention was to play and my intention was to play for the New York Jets. I haven't been holding anything up at this point. it's been compensation that the Packers are trying to get for me."
The future Hall of Famer has spent his entire career in Green Bay, but the possibility of that marriage ending has been real for the last two offseasons, especially after the team selected Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Over the last few days, reports have surfaced from ESPN's Dianna Russini that Rodgers has compiled a "wish list" of players he would like the Jets to pursue including former Packers teammates Allen Lazard, Mercedes Lewis, and Randall Cobb in addition to Odell Beckham Jr.
On Tuesday, the Jets checked one of those boxes by agreeing to terms on a four-year, $44 million deal with Lazard.
