We're a little over a month away from the start of the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City, so today we take a look at where former West Virginia wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton and defensive lineman Dante Stills could land.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton

Teams like the Panthers, Packers, and Titans just need receivers of any kind. They're extremely thin on numbers and it doesn't appear that they will be addressing that through free agency. The Cowboys, Buccaneers, and Saints are all teams that could look to add some help at receiver, particularly bigger-sized guys such as BFW. Ford-Wheaton played the X while at WVU, but I worry that he won't be able to win against press man coverage consistently enough to stay there at the next level. That means he would flip over to the Z where he can focus on getting vertical and making more plays downfield.

Best fits: Buccaneers, Cowboys, Packers, Panthers, Saints, Titans.

Dante Stills

Finding the perfect fit in the NFL for Stills is a bit of a challenge. He's a tweener in that he's not strong enough and doesn't have the size to play inside consistently, but he's not quick enough to rush off the edge as an end. I believe he'll land with a team that primarily runs a 4-3 base defense so that he can be used as a defensive end. He's still a bit undersized as an end in a 3-4 which typically needs to be able to take on double teams, contain the run, and get apply pressure on the QB. There are a couple of 4-3 teams that I believe he fits well in, both residing in L.A. They both play multiple fronts and have comparable players already in their system that could be pushed for playing time such as Carlo Kemp (Chargers) and Earnest Brown IV (Rams).

Best fits: Bears (4-3), Chargers (3-4), Chiefs (4-3), Cowboys (4-3), Lions (4-3), Rams (3-4).
