Recent WVU Offer "Looking to Build Relationships" with Coaching Staff

South Carolina offensive lineman receives offer from West Virginia

Earlier this month, class of 2022 offensive lineman Collin Sadler (6'5", 290-pounds) of Greenville, South Carolina received an offer from West Virginia.

"I was honestly very surprised as I had very little contact with the school previously," Sadler noted. "My head coach texted me and told me that I was offered and was told it was the offensive line coach [Matt Moore] that was the one to offer."

"To be honest, I know very little about the university, but heard positive reports from my friend Jaydon Collins. I am looking forward to creating relationships with the coaching staff and learning more about the program."

Collins is a 2021 target from Greer, SC that the Mountaineers have been in touch with on a consistent basis and Sadler said, "it would be great to play beside him at the collegiate level."

Sadler informs Mountaineer Maven that he does intend to visit West Virginia in the future, but is unsure of when that will take place.

When it comes to what Sadler is looking for in a program, well, it's not the flashy stuff. It is all about the people he is going to be working with. "I’ve never been the type to be impressed by facilities and stuff like that, I’m looking for quality people in a quality program."

Sadler also holds offers from Virginia Tech, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, and Liberty. There are no leaders in his recruitment at this time and will "wait until later in my recruiting process to speak on that".
