WVU DB Commit Flips to Miami

West Virginia defensive back commit Romanas Frederique announced his pledge to the University of Miami Friday afternoon.
The St. Aquinas product (Miami, FL) commited to West Virgina less than two weeks ago, picking the Mountaineers over Miami, Florida State, UCF, and Houston, among others.
With the decomitment, West Virginia holds 16 verbal commitments for the class of 2024.
There are currently three defensive backs part of the '24 class. WVU picked up Pittsburgh area safety Jason Cross on Saturday afternoon and received verbals from corners Israel Boyce and Keenan Flowe in mid-June.
