Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen Discusses Future Plans

The University of Wisconsin football team, under the leadership of Luke Fickell, wrapped up their regular season on a high note, clinching a 28-14 victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday afternoon. During the game, Badgers star running back Braelon Allen emerged as the hero of the day, rushing 26 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns. The question is, have we seen the last of Allen in a Badgers uniform?
Allen's Future: NFL or Another Year with the Badgers?
With Allen eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft, there has been plenty of speculation about his future plans. Following Saturday's win over Minnesota, Allen was asked about his future plans and he responded accordingly.
“I don’t know. I don’t know, You’ll find out soon enough,” Allen told reporters.
Allen reflected on the team's aspirations, emphasizing their initial focus on becoming bowl-eligible and then shifting their sights to reclaiming the Axe Trophy.
"As a team, all we wanted a couple of weeks ago was trying to be bowl-eligible,” Allen said. “Once we accomplished that, obviously, that came with the Freedom Trophy, but the next step was the Axe. That was a non-negotiable. We had to leave here with it. To go out like that for the regular season is amazing."

Braelon Allen's decision on whether to stay at Wisconsin for another year or enter the NFL Draft remains a topic of great anticipation.
