This coming Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers (5-3 overall, 3-2 in the Big Ten), will look to rebound from a tough loss to Ohio State when they travel to Bloomington to take on the Indiana Hoosiers (2-6, 0-5). The opening point spread for the game has been released, and the Badgers are a huge road favorite over the Hoosiers.

Road Favorites

When the Badgers travel to Bloomington, they will be a double-digit favorite over the Hoosiers. In fact, according to DraftKings, Wisconsin has opened at a 10-point favorite over Indiana. Though the Badgers have dominated Indiana over the past three decades (16-3 since 1993), the Hoosiers won the last matchup, back in 2020, by a score of 14-6 in Madison.

Hitting the Road Following a Tough Loss

Wisconsin will hit the road following a 24-10 home loss to Ohio State. Though the Badgers were able to keep the game within a touchdown heading into the fourth quarter (17-10), the offense was unable to put up any more points, and the Buckeyes remainder undefeated. Indiana is also coming into the game off a loss, though they gave Penn State a run for their money before falling 33-24 in Happy Valley.

Bottom Line: It's Go Time

Despite their recent loss to Ohio State, Wisconsin finds themselves in a four-way tie for first place in the Big Ten West, sharing the lead with Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska. To secure the division title and earn a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game, the Badgers will probably have to go 4-0 or 3-1 in their final four games.

Following this Saturday's matchup against Indiana, Wisconsin will host Northwestern and Nebraska at Camp Randall before concluding their regular season on the road against Minnesota. The path to the championship remains open, but the Badgers are going to have to take care of business down the stretch.
