Modern Warfare 3 is finally here and with everyone jumping on, it’s tough to decide on what weapon to use first. Well, if you’re looking for an Assault Rifle, the Holger 556 is the best of the bunch. With extremely easy-to-control recoil, fast aim down sights speed and great mobility, the Holger 556 is the go-to AR for many of the pros. Here’s the best loadout, including perks and equipment.

Call of Duty

This Holger 556 build removes almost all recoil on the weapon, making it extremely easy to use and an absolute laser at long ranges. Starting with the FJX Fulcrum Pro Muzzle, this decreases the weapons recoil, making it much easier to control. Combined with the FTAC Tiger Grip and RB Addle Assault Stock, virtually all recoil is completely taken away, and the idle sway is reduced.
The Intruder grip increases the aim down sights and sprint to fire speeds making the Holger 556 much more mobile. This makes this build perfect for all types of Assault Rifle players, as not only is it extremely easy to use at long ranges, it also has the ability to compete up close. Finally, the Optic is down to personal preference, but we like the clean look of the Slate Reflector.

Perks and Equipment throughout most loadouts in Modern Warfare 3 will remain the same. However, depending on if you’re using an Assault Rifle or an SMG, there will be some minor changes. Here, we’re starting off with the Infantry Vest. This increases your Tactical Sprint, making you much more mobile on the map.
Secondly, we’re choosing the Commando Gloves and Covert Sneakers. The Commando Gloves allow you to reload while sprinting and pair with the Infantry Vest perfectly, while the Covert Sneakers reduce your footstep noise allowing you to move around the map much easier.
The equipment can be changed depending on what you like to use, but we’ve gone for the Semtex and a Stun Grenade. These are perfect for clearing out Hardpoints, or just to enter a building in any game mode. With Assault Rifle players usually taking a slower approach to the game, we’re using a Trophy System as our Field Upgrade. This will block incoming lethals and tacticals, allowing you to hold down a position with no fear of being hit by a grenade.
The Holger 556 is unlocked towards the end of your journey to level 55, becoming available at level 37. However, once you unlock it and level up to these attachments, it will quickly become your favorite gun in Modern Warfare 3.
