In a new teaser, Riot Games seems to confirm a long-held fan theory that Vander, surrogate father to Vi and Powder, will become Warwick in Arcane Season 2

Arcane Season 2 finally has a release date.

Ever since the first season of Arcane was released on Netflix, League of Legends fans have been wondering when they will finally get answers to all of the cliffhangers. Unfortunately, Season 2 seemed to be quite far away and Riot was keeping pretty quiet about it.

Then, a Tencent Video V Vision Conference in September confirmed that Arcane Season 2 was coming in the fourth quarter of 2024. It was starting to narrow down a bit. Still, it felt a bit vague. Luckily we have more answers now.

When is Arcane Season 2 Coming to Netflix?

During its Geeked Week presentation earlier today, Netflix announced that Arcane Season 2 is coming in November 2024.

Unfortunately, the announcement didn’t come with any other information about Arcane Season 2. It’s unclear what the storylines will be and which League of Legends champions will make an appearance.

The series will still be produced by Fortiche Studios and Riot Games. Returning actors include:

  • Hailee Steinfeld as Vi
  • Katie Leung as Caitlyn
  • Ella Purnell as Jinx

Of course, it will continue on what happened at the end of Season 1, which had Jinx attacking the Council during an important discussion between Piltover and the underbelly of the city. It left fans wondering what would happen after the attack. Which champions would make it? What would come of the failed agreements?

Here are some top fan theories that could be part of the storyline in Season 2 and beyond.
