Paldean Fates Products Revealed - Release Date, Card List
It was reported a month ago that a new set was coming in January, bringing a ton of shiny Pokémon cards. Now, it has been confirmed that the set is Paldean Fates and special products will be released in January and February of 2024.
Paldean Fates will be focused on shiny Pokémon — in fact, there will be over 130 on the way. The ‘mon getting the shiny treatment include Pikachu, Tatsugiri, Tinkaton, and more. There will also be shiny Pokémon ex including Tera Charizard ex, Tera Forretress ex, and Tera Espathra ex. There will be three Illustration Rare shiny ‘mon cards and eight Special Illustration Rare cards. The set will also have six Hyper Rare cards and full-art supporters.
Paldean Fates Products Releasing in 2024
Paldean Fates is based on Japan’s Shiny Treasure ex set, which comes out on December 1. It will also include cards from Paradox Rift and other unreleased Japanese promos. You won’t be able to purchase booster packs and will instead need to buy special products. Here are the ones we know of so far:
- Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box - $59.99 - This will include 11 Paldean Fates booster packs, two copies of an Illustration Rare promo card with Mimikyu, and gameplay accessories
- Elite Trainer Box - $49.99 - Nine Paldean Fates booster packs are included, one Shiny Illustration Rare promo card featuring Mimikyu, and gameplay accessories
- Tech Sticker Collection - $15.99 - There are three variations of this collection, all of which have three Paldean Fates booster packs, a shiny promo card featuring either Fidough, Maschiff, or Greavard, and one large sticker of that ‘mon
- Mini Tins - $9.99 - There are five variations of this item, each with two booster packs, one sticker sheet, and one art card that either has Mashold, Smoliv, Tinkatink, Finizen, or Flamigo
- Tins - $29.99 - There are three variations that include four Paldean Fates booster packs and one ex promo card featuring a shiny Tera Charizard ex, Great Tusk ex, or Iron Treads ex
- Premium Collections - $49.99 - There are three variations of this collectible, featuring a promo card of either Meowscarada ex, Skeledirge ex, or Quaquavel ex, a giant shiny ‘mon card, a three-card display, eight Paldean Fates booster packs, and two shiny promo cards
