Teamfight Tactics 13.24b (13.25) Patch Notes: Stabilizing the Meta

With the TVO dust settled Riot is making a few changes to keep the game in check as the last patch of 2023 takes off.

The latest Teamfight Tactics patch, which happens to be the second patch of the TFT Set 10 expansion, fixed some key problems when it launched on Wednesday, December 6. But with the TFT Vegas Open that same weekend, the balance team went a little light to keep the game state stable with a promise to make some more extensive changes the week after. Welp, that time is finally here.

Launching on Wednesday, December 13, the 13.24b-patch (with some just calling it Patch 13.25) brings in some changes to rolling headliner odds on Level 9 as well as some augment, trait and champion adjustments. Here are all the changes players need to know.

System Changes

Players were abusing the fact that they can play a mediocre board and easily stabilize by going to Level 9 as quickly as possible because they could get bailed out by hitting a five-cost Headliner a little too easily. This change will make seeing five-cost headliners more rare.

  • Headliner odds at Level 9: 0/0/0/90/10 to 0/0/0/98/2

EDM and Spellweaver see some buffs as those traits are not seeing much play on their own, there are also some buffs to Big Shot, Bruiser and Rapidfire.
