Former Wolverine thinks Michigan will get to Penix
Michigan has a chance to win its first national title since 1997 with a win over Washington in the College Football Playoff final. Thomas Guynes talked about the Wolverines' matchup against the Huskies on a recent Under the Winged Helmet podcast episode.
“I really think that we are going to be able to get to Penix. Now, there is a difference between getting to him and getting him down. I feel like Penix is a little more elusive than Milroe, and I definitely feel like Penix has a much better arm. If you look at the receivers, they have some weapons.”
Michael Penix Jr. and the Washington offense are going to be a lot to handle, but the Wolverines have one of the top-ranked defenses in the country and will be ready for the challenge. Michigan is a 4.5-point favorite over Washington on Monday, according to BetOnline.
