Washington Great Corey Dillon Confident Huskies Will Roll Michigan
Former Washington running back and Super Bowl champion Corey Dillon has extreme confidence in his alma mater to get it done in the national championship game. The Huskies have a chance to claim their first outright college football title by beating number one-ranked Michigan, and Dillon talked about how he thinks they will win by 14 on a recent episode of the Bow Down podcast.
“Washington has the best offensive line in the country, so we will see how that plays out,” said Dillon. “Like I said before, Washington has team speed on offense, so I think that negates that strong defense of Michigan, and then we have one deciding factor, and that is I think we have the better quarterback.”
Washington is led by Michael Penix Jr., who, for a second straight season, has proven he is one of the best young quarterback prospects in the nation. Penix is a fierce competitor and leader with exceptional arm talent. The Huskies are 4.5-point underdogs to Michigan on Monday, according to BetOnline.
