Colts vs. Texans Could Be For a Playoff Spot and Coach of the Year
The Colts matchup with the Texans this weekend will essentially be a playoff game for both teams. The winner will make the postseason as a wild card team, and the loser will be eliminated. On the most recent episode of the Bleav in Colts podcast, Lawrence Owen and Donald Thomas discussed the magnitude of this game.
"Both of these teams coming into this season from last year to where they are now is remarkable," said Thomas. "You have to reward the leaders of the team in Ryans and Steichen. Whoever can make that big turnaround is going to be the leading candidate for coach of the year, in our opinion."
Both teams are 9-7 on the season, which is tremendous considering they combined for seven wins just a year ago. The Colts and Texans have young, talented rosters, and these franchises have bright futures.
