Ex-Ravens Tight End Expects Lamar Jackson to Crank It Up A Few
The Ravens are among the favorites to win the Super Bowl, and Lamar Jackson is the favorite to win the MVP award. Despite the impressive season for Jackson, Daniel Wilcox told Khari Thompson on the Bleav in Ravens podcast that he thinks the superstar quarterback will take his game to even another level when push comes to shove.
“Lamar Jackson is dishing it out just as good as anybody right now, and I think he has yet to turn it up two more notches to turn it up to fifth and sixth gear to show the guy when it comes down to it, I am going to take over the game,” said Wilcox. “He has done it very subtly throughout the season; you have seen little moments where he has jumped in and taken over the game.”
Lamar Jackson has rushed for 821 yards and thrown for another 3,678. Baltimore is 13-3 and has claimed the top seed in the AFC with their win over Miami last weekend. The Ravens are four-point underdogs to the Steelers this weekend, according to BetOnline.
