Minnesota's number one recruit in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports, has committed to the Badgers.

Emerson Mandell, an offensive lineman from Irondale High School, announced his commitment to Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman was the 24th ranked offensive tackle in the national, according to 247Sports.

Mandell had reportedly received offers from Minnesota, Iowa State, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M, among others.

PJ Fleck has already received commitments from seven of Minnesota's top-10 recruits on 247Sports' rankings. Wyatt Gilmore of Rogers is the only other top-10 recruit to commit elsewhere, with the 6-foot-4 edge rusher going to Oklahoma.

Coon Rapids wide receiver Khijohnn Cummings-Coleman is the lone member of Minnesota's top-10 to not commit yet. Cummings-Coleman has reportedly received offers from Minnesota, Iowa, Army, Kanasa, Iowa State, among others.

While the Gophers may have missed out on the top 2024 recruit from their own state, they did snag the top recruit from Wisconsin, receiving a commitment from four-star lineman Nathan Roy in June.
