Welcome to 2024 section championship week in Minnesota boys hockey
Entering play Monday 38 teams are alive and only 16 will be left skating by the end of the week.
One of the most exciting weeks of high school sports in America has arrived as the best of the best Minnesota boys hockey teams will skate for state in the section semifinals and championship games, with all of the action leading to Saturday's bracket unveiling and the state tournament next week.
Here's a section-by-section look at the games happening this week.
Class AA
Section 1 championship
- #1 Lakeville South vs. #2 Rochester Century/John Marshall

Section 2 championship
