The Timberwolves could be without leading scorer Anthony Edwards when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday evening.

Minnesota announced just before 2 p.m. that Edwards was downgraded to questionable because of upper-back spasms. If Edwards can't go, the Wolves will be down two starters as Jaden McDaniels is set to miss a third straight game with a sprained ankle.

The Grizzlies are 3-12 to start the season, with their struggles largely due to Ja Morant still owing 10 games on his 25-game suspension along with a long list of injured players.

Among the Grizzlies who will not play Sunday are Steven Adams (knee), Brandon Clarke (Achilles), Marcus Smart (foot), Xavier Tillman (knee), Luke Kennard (knee) and Jake LaRavia (eye).

The starters in the most recent Memphis game were Jacob Gilyard, Desmond Bane, Santi Aldama, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Bismack Biyombo. Derrick Rose and Minnesota native David Roddy are also getting big minutes off the bench.

Minnesota has lost 22 of 25 games in Memphis since 2009. The game is set to tip off at 5:10 p.m. CT.
