Anthony Edwards' health is of the utmost concern after he went to the locker room in the third quarter after falling hard during Tuesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Edwards erupted for 11 consecutive points to bring the Timberwolves back from a 61-53 halftime deficit early in the third quarter, and then with 3:33 left in the quarter he attacked the rim and fell hard on his right hip.

The 22-year-old stayed on his back for several moments before eventually shooting a pair of free throws. But when five-on-five action resumed after the free throws, Edwards was limping and grimacing in pain before the Timberwolves called a timeout to get their superstar medical attention.

Edwards returned to the bench with about 9:30 left in the game but he put on a jacket and didn't return. The team ruled him questionable to return with a right hip contusion.

Minnesota went on to beat the Thunder 106-103, improving to 13-4 on the season.
