The Minnesota Timberwolves lost their seventh straight game on Saturday night in a 128-112 loss to the Washington Wizards.

Bradley Beal was a nemesis for the Timberwolves scoring 34 points on the night to lead the way for Washington. While Beal was adding onto his resume as a Timberwolves killer, the Wolves were also tormented by Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook recorded a triple-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists as Washington took a 54-52 lead into halftime.

While the Timberwolves hung around in the first half thanks to 23 points and 11 rebounds for Karl-Anthony Towns, the Wizards opened things up in the second half.

The Wizards outscored the Timberwolves 44-29 in the third quarter, opening up a lead as big as 19 points.

Jarred Vanderbilt put up a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in the starting lineup, but it wasn't enough to get Chris Finch his first win as head coach.

The Timberwolves are now 7-27 on the season and will host the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
