Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a win over the Spurs in San Antonio, moving the Wolves to 6-2 in their in-season tournament debut.

Towns scored 29 and Edwards 28 as the Wolves fought back from a first-half deficit, and hung on in the second half despite a late fightback led by rookie phenom Victor Wemanyana and Devin Vassell, who each scored 29.

After struggling at times at the start of the season, Towns caught fire in San Antonio, draining three 3s and snagging 12 rebounds as he top scored for the Wolves.
