The list of injuries is mounting for the Minnesota Timberwolves as according to The Athletic's Shams Charania and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Jaden McDaniels reportedly has a broken right hand after punching a wall in Sunday's victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

McDaniels was injured before halftime after picking up his second foul of the game and was seen marching to the tunnel to take out his frustrations on a wall. After throwing the punch, McDaniels was seen icing his hand on the bench and did not play in the second half.

McDaniels averaged 12.2 points, 3.9 rebounds in 78 games and has emerged as the top defensive player for the Timberwolves this season.

The Timberwolves have been hit hard by injuries this season as Karl-Anthony Towns missed nearly four months with a Grade 3 calf strain earlier this season and fellow center Naz Reid broke his wrist during a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Mar. 29.

With Rudy Gobert's status up in the air after throwing a punch at Kyle Anderson on Sunday, the Timberwolves could be short-handed as they open the NBA Play-In Tournament with a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
