Lance Stephenson is back.

The enigmatic guard has been out of the NBA since 2022 but he's signing with the Timberwolves and joining their G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves, the team confirmed on Monday.

The 33-year-old has 11 NBA seasons under his belt, including a six-game stint with Minnesota during the 2016-17 season.

He's had three stints with the Indiana Pacers while also playing for the Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks.

Most recently, Stephenson played four games for Leones de Ponce in Puerto Rico, where he averaged 20.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 31.3 minutes per game.

Stephenson was in Las Vegas on Saturday for the In-Season Tournament championship game. He recorded a video rooting for the Pacers against the Lakers that the Pacers posted to the team account on X.

Minnesota has an open roster spot so what it decides to do with Stephenson will be interesting.
