Jaden McDaniels will have an extra two inches of help in his campaign to prove voters wrong for leaving him off of the All-NBA defensive team in 2022.

According to buzz heard by Timberwolves insider Jon Krawczynski, the Wolves forward is "measuring at 6-foot-11 at his latest workouts."

Last year McDaniels told The Athletic“I do feel taller in my shoes. Maybe 6-11, 6-10.” The Timberwolves' official website listed McDaniels at 6-foot-9 during the 2022-23 season.

If we're doing a little basic math, and some general assuming, that official 6-foot-9 measurement was without shoes and if the new measurement is the same then McDaniels has grown two inches ahead of his fourth NBA season.

And if he's 6-foot-11 without shoes, that means he's a 7-footer in shoes. That's remarkable considering he'll be in the starting lineup with 7-footers Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert.
