Steph Curry out Tuesday night against the Wolves

Curry scored 38 points against the Wolves Sunday night

Warriors star guard Steph Curry is out for Tuesday night's clash with the Wolves.

In Sunday's 116-110 Timberwolves win over the Warriors, Golden State needed 38 points from Curry to remain in the game with the rest of the squad going 26-of-71 from the field, including 7-of-30 from 3-point range.

The Wolves are currently in third place in the Western Conference with a 7-2 record. Golden State is seventh in the West with a 6-5 record.

Minnesota jumped to second place in the NBA.com power rankings this week after wins over the Celtics, Pelicans, Spurs and Warriors. They also have a win over the Nuggets.

In Sunday's game between the two sides, Draymond Green and Wolves star Anthony Edwards got into a verbal spat that resulted in Edwards answering with a barrage of eight points in a one-minute and 12-second span. Warriors guard Chris Paul was also accused of dirty play when diving into Mike Conley's legs.

Tuesday night's rematch is the Wolves' second game in the inaugural In-Season Tournament. Minnesota won game one of group play 117-110 over the Spurs last Friday.
