The eight seed and a date with Denver is on the line Friday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder in the final NBA play-in tournament and i was the Wolves rolling OKC by 25 points. 

Minnesota officially earned the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference and will take on the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in a best-of-seven series. Game 1 is 9:30 p.m. Sunday. 

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 28 points while five others finished in double figures: Rudy Gobert (21), Anthony Edwards (19), Mike Conley 14, Nickeil Alexander-Walker (12) and Kyle Anderson (11).
