Opening night is just two days away as the Minnesota Timberwolves begin the 2023-24 regular season in Canada against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Ahead of the opener, the team announced the official and it includes 14 players and three additional players who are on two-way contracts.

  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker
  • Jaylen Clark (two way)
  • Mike Conley
  • Anthony Edwards
  • Jordan McLaughlin

  • Kyle Anderson

Players on two-way contracts can move back and forth from the G League to the NBA. That means Garza, Nix and Clark could spend the bulk of their time with the G League Wolves

The starting five will feature Conley, Edwards, McDaniels, Towns and Gobert, though that might not be the case against Toronto as McDaniels is working his way back from a calf injury. If McDaniels doesn't play Wednesday, the logical replacement in the starting lineup is either Anderson or Alexander-Walker.

The season begins at 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday in Toronto. The home opener is Saturday at 7 p.m. CT against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.
