Here are the job requirements to be the next T.C. Bear

If you've ever wanted to be a professional mascot, specifically T.C. Bear, the opportunity is here!

With the Twins parting ways with the original actor from the past 19 seasons, the team is in search of its next mascot and luckily, the job posting is now available, via LinkedIn.

Here are a few of the "essential duties and responsibilities" for being the next T.C. Bear, which is an associate-level full-time position with benefits.

• Oversee the Minnesota Twins mascot program and all related matters concerning the image and activities of T.C., ensuring consistency with the Twins brand.
• Schedule and perform as T.C., the official mascot of the Minnesota Twins, at public, private, community and team events. Required appearances include all postseason home games and related events; a minimum of 60 home games; one week of Winter Caravan; TwinsFest; and a minimum of 75 outside appearance events.
• Manage the overall Minnesota Twins mascot program communication, including all inbound phone calls, appearance requests and emails, responding in a timely manner.
• Embody the Twins pillars of Passion, Heart, Hustle and Fun.

Now here's where things get interesting with the "requirements" of the job.

• Excellent non-verbal communication skills; must have the ability to interact with fans while in costume.
• Excellent physical skills, including, but not limited to, dancing, tumbling and gymnastics.
• Baseball/softball skills a plus, including the ability to hit and catch.
• Prior mascot related experience (collegiate, minor league or professional) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

So not only do you have the athletic ability, you also must be able to work your way around Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Power Point and more. 

However, there's no confirmation if you have to remain in costume while navigating those programs.

Finally, there are a few physical requirements that applicants should be aware of.

• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. 
• Able to walk up and down steps.
• Ability to stand and/or walk up to 5 hours at a time.
• Due to costume restrictions, ideal height range is 5'9"–6'1"

The average height of a male is 5'9" and 5'4" for a female, according to Healthline.com. So if you don't meet their height requirements, you can probably throw away your applications.

And if you don't have the commitment for the full-time position, you can also apply to be a Mascot Assistant, which is a part-time position and doesn't require proficiency in Microsoft Office.
