Twins radio announcer Cory Provus was hot after the umps ruled Michael A. Taylor out after a controversial replay in Wednesday night's game against the Red Sox.

Taylor laid down a bunt in the bottom of the tenth and was called out on a bang-bang play at first base. Replay angles clearly showed Taylor touching first before Red Sox pitcher Kaleb Ort, and it appeared that Ort never tagged Taylor, much less get a foot on first base.

It was so obvious that Taylor walked back onto the field ready to be awarded a bunt single. Instead, replay officials ruled in favor of the call on the field – and Provus's shock and displeasure with the decision was evident in his play-by-play call.

"What?!" screamed Provus as the umps held up the call.

"How in the world did they not overturn that call? That is horrible," Provus continued. "That is horrible. Marvin Hudson, Jeff Nelson and the umpires in New York watching that, I saw three, four different angles. How in the world is he out? That's terrible. That is terrible."

None if it mattered in the end after Kyle Farmer drove in Willi Castro with a walk-off single to give the Twins a 5-4 win over Boston. Provus had his cellphone camera recording him for the winning call.
