Report: Brad Hand on Twins' radar

Twins are keeping an eye on the Chaska-native

A relief pitcher the Twins have on their radar is Chaska-native Brad Hand.

That's according to KSTP sports reporter Darren Wolfson, who says the Twins have an interest in the three-time All-Star.

Hand was drafted in the second round by the Marlins in 2008 and most recently was with the Phillies.

The 32-year old has a career .362 ERA. In 2022 Hand had a 2.80 ERA in 45 inning pitched with 38 strikeouts, pitching in games two and four of the World Series.

Wolfson notes that the Twins "weren't really in on" relievers Michael Fulmer or Andrew Chafin, so this may just be the Twins keeping tabs on potential reliever options if their bullpen falls apart like it did in 2022.
