Royce Lewis is set to miss six weeks after suffering an injury in Saturday's win over the Baltimore Orioles.
It was confirmed Monday that MRI revealed Lewis had sustained a Grade 2 oblique strain, meaning he will most likely miss around six weeks.
It's the latest in a string of injuries for the Twins star prospect since being drafted No. 1 overall in the 2017 draft.
The 24-year old infielder has hit .326/.354/.474 with four home runs and 15 RBI since returning from his second season-ending ACL injury.
