Shocking video: Twins' Christian Vazquez avoids serious head injury

Vazquez was millimeters from suffering what could've been a serious head injury.

Slow-motion video from the Twins television feed Wednesday afternoon shows how close Minnesota catch Christian Vazquez was to being struck in the face by a foul ball. 

Vazquez was in the on-deck circle when Donovan Solano hit a foul ball that went straight for Vazquez's face, only missing him by the grace of the bill on his batting helmet. 

Vazquez picked himself up after the scary moment and was good to go and wound up popping out to right field for the second out of the third inning.
