Good news: The Twins beat the Orioles 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Bad news: Royce Lewis left the game with an injury.

Lewis suffered what the Twins are calling a left oblique strain as he ran out a ground ball in the third inning. He appeared in discomfort as he was running and was later shown angrily slapping the padded dugout fence as he left the game and was replaced at third base by Kyle Farmer.

Jose Miranda was scratched from the St. Paul Saints lineup at Triple-A Rochester, so it's a good bet that Miranda will be playing for the Twins Sunday in Baltimore. How much time Lewis will miss is undetermined.

As for the game, Bailey Ober gave the Twins seven shutout innings and allowed just two hits while striking out eight. The Twins mustered seven hits but only one did damage, a solo homer by Joey Gallo in the fourth inning.

It was Gallos' second blast in as many days and his team-leading 15th of the season.

Baltimore threatened to tie the game in the ninth but Max Kepler saved the day with a sliding catch along the foul line in right field that robbed Anthony Santander of what could've been the game-tying double or triple.

Up next: Twins at Orioles, Sunday at 11:10 a.m. CT. The game will be streamed exclusively on Peacock.
