Jorge Polanco's RBI single off the right field wall broke a six and a half inning deadlock as the Twins pull out a 1-0 win Friday night.

The Twins bats were silent for a majority of the night as the Guardians got five innings of shutout pitching from Aaron Civale. The Cleveland starter allowed just four hits before his exit.

Bailey Ober was just as effective for the Twins allowing four hits and striking out three in six innings of work.

Jhoan Duran pulled out a five out save coming in in the top of the eighth with Steven Kwan on second. Duran struck out three, allowing just one hit, in his eighth save of the season.

Twins and Guardians are back in action tomorrow with Sonny Gray and Logan Allen set to take the mound. First pitch is set for 6:10p.m. at Target Field.
