Dalvin Cook: 'I want somebody who values Dalvin Cook'

"I'm not in a rush to go sign with nobody. I'm trying to find the right fit for me and my family."

Dalvin Cook said he wants to go somewhere that "values" him after the Vikings cut the 27-year old running back last week.

Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show Tuesday, Cook said, "I want the value. I want somebody who values Dalvin Cook. I want somebody that wants me to be there and give me the ball. I just want to go into the right situation so I can go help somebody win."

Cook rushed for over 1,000 yards for the fourth straight season in 2022 as part of the 13-4 Vikings team that won the NFC North.

"Like you said, the money is going to come. If you play good, they are going to pay you. I just want to go somewhere where it feels like it's home and help somebody win and just go be me. Just go turn it loose and look for a home. That's it."

On when he expects to choose his next destination, Cook said, "I'm not in a rush to go sign with nobody. I'm trying to find the right fit for me and my family."
