The Detroit Lions can clinch the NFC North championship with a win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, but some local Detroit stores are already jumping the gun.

Formerly Twitter user Vikeologist spotted a Lions division championship shirt in the wild complete with big-headed drawings of quarterback Jared Goff, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta.

The hype for Lions fans is understandable as winning on Sunday would bring home their first division title since 1993. A win would also result in their first NFC North title as their last division championship came in the NFC Central era when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were considered division rivals.

Winning their first division title since Barry Sanders was in the backfield would be a major accomplishment and as someone who once owned a 1996-97 Minnesota Gophers "National Champions" shirt during their run to the Final Four, you can see what local retailers are doing here.

Although it's smart to make one last push for cash before Christmas, it also could serve as motivation for the Vikings, who are three-point underdogs and looking to secure a playoff spot at 7-7.
