Mattison and Hall upgraded Thursday, Evans set to miss Sunday

Alexander Mattison and Jaren Hall were upgraded on the Vikings' Thursday injury report as both continue to progress through the concussion protocol.

Hall progressed to being a full participant Thursday after a limited role Wednesday while Mattison was limited Thursday after not participating Wednesday.

Cornerback Akayleb Evans looks set to miss Sunday night's game against the Broncos with a calf injury. Evans told media Thursday, “I felt like I was playing good ... playing confident. ... It’s always tough to go out with an injury but especially when you’re playing well." The second-year corner has three forced fumbles this season while starting every game.

Justin Jefferson continued to progress towards his eventual return after a five-week layoff due to a hamstring injury. "I want to be on that field more than anything. Competing to win a Super Bowl. It's tough that I've been out for a while now, but I'm ready to get back out there," Jefferson said Thursday.

Tight end T.J. Hockenson was a limited participant for the second consecutive day battling a rib injury sustained in Week 9 against the Falcons.

Nick Mullens (back) and Brian Asamoah II (ankle) were also listed as limited Thursday.

Josh Dobbs was once again on the team's injury report with ankle issues, the QB was a full participant. Dean Lowry (groin), K.J. Osborn (concussion) and Chris Reed (foot) were all listed as full participants.

Denver Gazette, and former Pioneer Press, reporter Chris Tomasson reported that Ben Power (foot) and P.J. Locke (ankle) were the lone Broncos not practicing Thursday
