Report: Vikings have 'expressed interest' in Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed

Kansas City placed nonexclusive franchise tag on cornerback on Tuesday.

The Vikings have "expressed interest" in Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed, according a report from the USA Today's Tyler Dragon.

The Chiefs placed a nonexclusive franchise tag on Sneed on Tuesday, which allows Sneed to talk with other teams. Kansas City could still look to trade Sneed to a potential suitor, and a new deal could be worked out with league approval.

Sneed played 16 games for the Chiefs last season during their Super Bowl run. He had 78 tackles, 14 passes defended, two picks and a fumble recovery.

Across his four-year career, all with the Chiefs, Sneed has recorded 303 tackles, 40 passes defended, 10 interceptions, 6.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries.
