After sending a sixth-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for quarterback Josh Dobbs and a seventh-round pick, the Minnesota Vikings stayed active by trading left guard Ezra Cleveland to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Vikings have confirmed they are receiving a sixth-round pick for Cleveland, who was due to become an unrestricted free agent after the season.

Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune says the sixth-round pick in 2024 is from Carolina from last year's Laviska Shenault Jr. trade.

Cleveland was Minnesota's starting left guard the first six weeks of the season before a foot injury kept him out of the past two games.

Dalton Risner has started the past two games at left guard and Minnesota's offensive line hasn't missed a beat, ranking third overall in pass blocking this season and sixth in run blocking, according to Pro Football Reference.

If Risner is injured, the Vikings' backup left guard is now Blake Brandel.
