Taylor Swift attends Packers-Chiefs after giving Vikings a miss in Week 5

This insult will live in infamy.

Taylor Swift was in attendance to watch the Green Bay Packers beat Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, proving she can find her way to the Upper Midwest after giving the Vikings game a miss in October.

Yes, we're sorry, we know NFL fans have been inundated with "Swift and Kelce" content since the pair began dating, but this story rather plays on the age-old "Minnesota v. Wisconsin" rivalry more than the celebrity couple.

The Associated Press reports that Sunday's game was the fifth the megastar has attended this season, but was her first since the Oct. 22 Chiefs win over the Chargers "because of conflicts with her tour schedule."

Before that she had attended four out of five games between Sept. 24 and Oct. 22 – the game she missed being, you guessed it, the Chiefs' Week 5 win at the Vikings in Minneapolis, with no explanation given for why she gave the Oct. 8 game a swerve.

Perhaps Swift had seen all she needed to of U.S. Bank Stadium after performing two sold-out shows there this past summer, whereas a trip to Lambeau Field is more of a rarity given it was the first time in eight years the Chiefs had been scheduled to play there.

The Packers-Chiefs game was also on Sunday Night Football, giving Swift – one of the business-savviest musical stars on the planet – a much bigger audience.

Or perhaps it's none of those reasons and the stars simply aligned with her busy schedule to attend, and we're just perennially affronted Minnesotans.

Actually that's probably it.

In any case, the Packers beat Kelce's Chiefs – something the Vikings couldn't do when the Super Bowl champions visited Minneapolis.
