Vikings-Bears announce inactive players for Monday Night Football

The Vikings will be without Akayleb Evans for the second-straight week

The Vikings took the major surprise out of the pre-game inactive player announcement earlier Monday by ruling star receiver Justin Jefferson out for the game against the Bears.

But in the official inactive list announced 90 minutes before the 7:15 p.m. kickoff, cornerback Akyleb Evans was also ruled out for the second straight game with a calf injury. Evans was on the road to returning having been a full participant Saturday after two days of being a limited participant.

Offensive linemen Chris Reed and Hakeem Adeniji, tight end Nick Muse and linebacker Nick Vigil will also be inactive for Monday night's game.

Quarterback Jaren Hall, having returned from a concussion suffered in the team's Week 9 win over the Falcons, is on the inactive report but is the team's emergency third QB.

The Bears inactive player list includes quarterback Nathan Peterman, running back D'onta Foreman, offensive lineman Larry Borom, defensive lineman Dominique Robinson, linebacker Noah Sewell and defesive backs Quindell Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson.
