Minnesota ruled Justin Jefferson out on Saturday so there were no big surprises when the team announced the list of inactive players for Sunday Night Football in Denver.

The inactive list features safety Lewis Cine, wide receiver Trishton Jackson, quarterback Jaren Hall, cornerback Akayleb Evans, linebacker Brian Asamoah II, tight end Nick Muse and offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji.

Running back Alexander Mattison, who was questionable as he recovered from a concussion, is active. He and Ty Chandler will handle the rushing duties.

Like Jefferson, players on injured reserve who will also miss the game include linebacker Jordan Hicks, who underwent surgery on a shin injury after last week's game, and outside linebacker Marcus Davenport, who has been out for a while after an ankle procedure.

Nick Mullens is the backup quarterback to starter Josh Dobbs, and the receiver room will feature Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn, who returns after missing last week's game with a concussion.

The Broncos' inactive list includes safety P.J. Locke, linebackers Ronnie Perkins, Ben Niemann and Thomas Incoom, center Alex Forsyth, and defensive end Elijah Garcia.
