Vikings injury report: Jordan Addison, Mekhi Blackmon limited Thursday

Byron Murphy Jr. did not participate for the second consecutive day this week

Rookies Jordan Addison (ankle) and Mekhi Blackmon (shoulder) were upgraded Thursday to limited participant status after missing Wednesday’s practice.

The injuries have stacked up on the Vikings heading into Sunday's home finale against the Packers. The team's top corner Byron Murphy Jr., who missed the Vikings' 30-24 loss to Detroit, was unable to participate for the second consecutive day Thursday with a knee injury.

Receivers Theo Jackson (toe) and Jalen Nailor (concussion) both sat out Thursday along with defensive lineman Jaquelin Roy (ankle).

Alexander Mattison was a limited participant for the second straight day due to an ankle injury. Sheldon Day (ankle) and Troy Dye (wrist) were also limited Thursday.

Tackle Brian O'Neill (ankle), linebacker Ivan Pacer Jr. (shoulder) and defensive lineman Harrison Phillips (back) were all full participants with injury designations.

The Packers also have a large injury report heading into Sunday's NFC North clash.

Receiver Christian Watson remained sidelined with a hamstring injury that has seen him miss the previous three games. Green Bay's third-leading receiver Dontayvion Wicks also was unable to practice for the second straight day with a chest/ankle injury. Jayden Reed, the Packer's second-leading receiver, was limited again Thursday with toe and chest injuries.

Star linebacker De'Vondre Campbell was inactive again Thursday with a neck injury that held him out of the Packers' 33-30 win over the Panthers Sunday. Fellow starting linebacker Quay Walker was limited Thursday with a shoulder injury. Backup linebacker Kingsley Enagbare (toe) was upgraded to full participant status after being limited Wednesday.

Green Bay's top two running backs,AJ Dillon (thumb) and Aaron Jones (knee/finger), were both limited for the second consecutive day. The team's fourth-string running back Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) was a full participant with an injury designation Thursday.

Starting nose tackle TJ Slaton was downgraded Thursday to a DNP with a knee/foot injury, Slaton was a limited participant Wednesday.

Elsewhere, starting guard Elgton Jenkins (shoulder/knee) was upgraded to full participant Thursday. Starting safeties Darnell Savage (shoulder) and Jonathan Owens (knee) were limited again while tight end Luke Musgrave (kidney) was limited alongside corner Robert Rochell (neck).
