The Minnesota Vikings added a linebacker on Friday night, adding Oklahoma's Brian Asamoah with the 66th pick in the NFL Draft.

Asamoah recorded 89 tackles including four for loss last season for the Sooners. A dynamic blitzer, he figures to add depth to a unit that includes Eric Kendricks and free-agent signing Jordan Hicks.

The selection ends a wild night for the Vikings. Minnesota began the evening by trading the 34th overall pick to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for the 53rd and 59th overall pick.

After the Packers used that pick on wide receiver Christian Watson, the Vikings moved up from the 53rd spot and sent the 77th and 192nd overall picks to the Indianapolis Colts to take Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth Jr.

The Vikings waited their turn for their final selection of the second round, taking LSU guard Ed Ingram with the 59th overall pick.

With the addition of first-round pick Lewis Cine (32nd overall), the Vikings have added four players in the first three rounds of the draft. Barring a trade, the Vikings have five selections remaining on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings own pick No. 122 in the fourth round, No. 156 in the fifth round, Nos. 184 and 191 in the sixth round and No. 250 in the seventh round.
