There aren't many things you can take away from the NFL's preseason games, but if you were wondering what Adam Thielen would look like in a Carolina Panthers jersey, you're in luck.

Thielen, who spent nine years with the Minnesota Vikings before he was released last February, made his unofficial debut with the Panthers in the loss to the New York Jets Saturday afternoon.

Thielen only played eight snaps on the first two drives of the game but made somewhat of an impact, catching Bryce Young's first pass to open the game.

While Thielen's afternoon ended early, it wasn't the only strange sight for Vikings fans as former Geen Bay Packers quarterback and NFC North nemesis Aaron Rodgers stood on the opposite sideline for the New York Jets.

It's not certain whether Thielen and Rodgers, who are friends and golf partners off the field, were able to meet up after the game, but Rodgers did run into Thielen's kids, signing gear for them during a joint practice earlier this week.

With Thielen and Rodgers out of the NFC North, things will look much different for the Vikings this season. But Thielen will hope to find chemistry with Young as the Vikings will move ahead with 2023 first-round pick Jordan Addison.
