Thanksgiving Football Schedule 2023: All the Games on TV Today
Thanksgiving Day is finally here, and alongside food and family, that special occasion means one other American tradition: football.
This year's annual Turkey Day festivities brings us four games across the national TV schedule today, including one historic college football rivalry matchup and three NFL games from the early slate into primetime, all involving divisional rivalries.
Here's your viewing guide for the football to watch on Thanksgiving.

Ole Miss at Mississippi State

Line: Ole Miss -10

The Game: It's time once again for the Egg Bowl, a Thanksgiving tradition in the SEC pitting two in-state rivals at each other's throats. This year, Ole Miss appears to have the upper hand at 9-2 overall, but Mississippi State returns quarterback Will Rogers from injury to give this offense a much-needed jolt.

The Game: Usually, football fans just had to watch the Lions on Thanksgiving. Now, they actually want to. And who can blame them? Detroit has won 8 games in its first 10 outings for the first time since 1962, and it already owns a head-to-head victory over Green Bay, which will be without several key players, including tight end Luke Musgrave and tailback Aaron Jones.

Line: Cowboys -13.5
FPI pick: Cowboys 85.1% to win
The Game: Dallas would love to get a key win here against an old NFC East rival with five games upcoming against teams with winning records, and so far the odds are in its favor: the Cowboys have won 12 straight home games, while Washington sits one game outside last place in the division and sitting last in the NFL with 27.7 points allowed per game on average. That's despite posting the league's 10th best passing attack.
49ers at Seahawks

Line: 49ers -7
FPI pick: 49ers 73.3% to win
The Game: Not long ago, the 49ers were trudging through a three-game losing streak, but after winning two in a row, they have a shot to take control of the NFC West standings with a win on Thanksgiving. A win would be San Fran's fourth straight against the Seahawks and their 10th in a row against a divisional foe. Seattle can pull even in the division heading into a tough stretch that includes a rematch with the Niners in two weeks between a date at Dallas and against Philadelphia.
