The New York Yankees are rolling offensively right now, and that offense can join a very special place in Yankees history on Wednesday.

After scoring 10 runs on Sunday against the Padres, and 10 runs each against the Mariners on Monday and Tuesday, the Yankees can accomplish something that hasn't been done in nearly 100 years.

Bryan Hoch of MLB.com has more on Twitter:

The #Yankees have scored 10 runs in three consecutive games, blasting eight homers among their 42 total hits.

The last Yankees squad with 10+ runs in four straight?

1930; they did it in five straight (June 12-18). Lou Gehrig led the way, going 15-for-25 with 4 HR and 18 RBI.

These Yankees don't have Lou Gehrig, but they do have Aaron Judge, who has been incredibly hot of late. More from Hoch:

The #Yankees are 15-6 since Aaron Judge returned from the IL, cutting their deficit in the AL East in half (10 games back to five).

They are a season-high 11 games over .500.

Besides the bats, the bullpen has been crucial over that span (9-2, 3.21 ERA).

The Yankees will look to join that 1930 team on Wednesday when they finish out the series with the Mariners. First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. ET as George Kirby pitches against Clarke Schmidt.

The Yankees will enter play at 34-23 and 5.0 games back in the American League East. Seattle will come in at 28-27 and 7.5 games back of the Texas Rangers in the AL West.
