The Philadelphia Phillies continued to display power at a historic pace Tuesday night.

Philadelphia took an early 2-0 lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 2 of the NLCS, thanks exclusively to that signature power. Shortstop Trea Turner hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning, while designated hitter Kyle Schwarber hit another in the bottom of the third.

First baseman Bryce Harper nearly added to that total a few at-bats later, but his fly ball to left died at the warning track.

Schwarber blasted another solo home run off of Merrill Kelly in the sixth inning to keep the Citizens Bank Park crowd on its feet.

The Phillies have now hit 15 home runs in their last four games, dating back to their NLDS victory over the Atlanta Braves. According to MLB.com's Sarah Langs, that breaks the record for the most home runs by any team in a four-game span in postseason history.

The power surge began in Game 3 of the NLDS, when Harper and right fielder Nick Castellanos hit two apiece. Turner and left fielder Brandon Marsh also added home runs that night.

The very next game, Castellanos hit two more and Turner belted another. Philadelphia got home runs from Schwarber, Harper and Castellanos in Game 1 of the NLCS on Monday night.

Of the 15 home runs the Phillies have hit over the past seven days, all but one was a solo shot. Still, Philadelphia made the most of those runs and hasn't lost during the ongoing onslaught.

The Phillies have 19 home runs on the whole this postseason, which ranks third all-time for most through eight playoff games, per Langs.

The Phillies went on to defeat the Diamondbacks 10-0 to go up 2-0 in the series.
