The Texas Rangers are good. Really good. And the offense is good. Really good.

In fact, it's historically good.

One day after beating the Seattle Mariners, 16-6, the Rangers currently lead the Mariners 12-1 in the top of the seventh inning. The ability to put up double-digit run totals is something that makes this team stand out.

Per ESPN Stats & Info:

The Rangers' 16 games scoring 10+ runs are tied for the most by any team within its first 60 games over the last 100 years with the 1936 Yankees and 1999 Mariners.

That 1999 Mariners team had Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez and Alex Rodriguez, so any time you can join them? You're doing well, not to mention the 1936 Yankees.

Currently, the Rangers have four players in the lineup with multi-hit efforts and three players hitting more than .300. Seven of the nine players who started are hitting above .280. The lineup is just relentless.

The Rangers are seeking their first playoff appearance since 2016 and with an offense like this, they are certainly primed to get it. But it's not just the offense. After signing Jon Gray, Martin Perez, Jacob deGrom, Andrew Heaney and Nathan Eovaldi over the last two offseasons, the pitching has been good too.

Assuming the Rangers hold onto win, they'll move to 38-20 while the Mariners will drop under .500 at 29-30.

Texas will be right back at it on Monday when they host the St. Louis Cardinals while Seattle won't play until Tuesday when they visit San Diego.
