PFL World Championship 2023 Results & Highlights
The 2023 PFL World Championship went down at The Anthem in Washington D.C. and included six title bouts.
The night’s main event saw Olivier Aubin-Mercier win the PFL lightweight title for the second year in a row when he defeated Clay Collard, and in the co-main event Renan Ferreira stopped Denis Goltsov to win the heavyweight belt.
The main card also included Larissa Pacheco winning her second PFL tournament thanks to a decision victory over Marina Mokhnatkina. Magomed Magomedkerimov won the welterweight title for a third time by defeating Sadibou Sy, and Impa Kasanganay also claimed the light heavyweight strap with a decision win over Josh Silveira.
The PPV portion of the event was rounded out by Kayla Harrison making her long-awaited return to action with a win over UFC veteran Aspen Ladd, and Derek Brunson also successfully debuted in the PFL when he defeated two-time welterweight tournament winner Ray Cooper III.
The night’s prelims featured Muhammed Ali’s grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh stopping Joel Galarza Lopez in the second round, and the final prelim matchup of the evening saw Jesus Pinedo win this year's featherweight title with a TKO win over Gabriel Braga.
