UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Clippers-Timberwolves Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Target Center.    

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.   

Via Underdog NBA: "Anthony Edwards (ankle) questionable for Sunday."

Edwards is averaging 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 38.1% from the three-point range in 57 games.    

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 42-18 record in 60 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Domantas Sabonis and the Sacramento Kings (in overtime) by a score of 124-120.

Edwards left the game early due to personal reasons and finished his night with 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and one block while shooting 2/11 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range in 19 minutes of playing time.  

Following the Clippers, the Timberwolves will remain at home to host the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday evening at the Target Center.  

As for the Clippers, they are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 38-20 record in 58 games. 

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently beat Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards by a score of 140-115. 

Following their matchup with the Timberwolves, the Clippers will travel to Wisconsin to face off against Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday evening.
